It's fantastic! We both really loved it. The theater was packed and everyone else seemed to be loving it too, and, as I said, lots of people applauded. I don't think you and Robert will be disappointed. It will also make you hungry. :D

Bats!! Goodness! We were in a restaurant where that happened once, I think because someone left the door open that evening because the A/C was on the fritz. It was too funny because the bat was, as you say, diveboming tables. People were NOT amused, to say the least. The health inspectors probably weren't either! LOL

Well, that's a shame that you won't get to see the movie. I don't know, though, I heard it was getting mixed reviews. Maybe you wouldn't love it like we did (my friend splix didn't, sadly). You'll have to let me know what you think of the book, though.

My husband is such a card. I just told him about your theater bats, and he said it would have been perfect if they were showing The Dark Knight or Batman Returns. *rolls eyes* He's too much, my hubby. :D

We did have a great time! We thought some parts of the film were just hysterically funny. I can't believe how perfectly cast Meryl Streep is, but then again, somehow she always seems to completely become the character. She's so amazing. I also love Amy Adams.
