Merry Christmas!

(please click the old-fashioned Christmas)

To all of my lovely LiveJournal friends,

I just want to say how much I've enjoyed meeting all of you this past year, and how much I've loved our conversations. Thank you for your advice, help with journaling, links, pictures, calendars . . . in short, thanks for being the lovely people you are. You guys are the best! You've become very important to me. Be well, everyone, and take good care of yourselves.

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season, and here's to a joyous, Ewan-filled New Year! And if you make them, good luck with those New Year's resolutions.

Anika, thank you for all of your help and support, especially the last few weeks, it's very much appreciated and is definitely helping me through this difficult time.

Have a great holiday *hugs*
Oh good, I'm so glad to hear that, Shellie. You're very welcome.

I hope you have a lovely visit with your family.

Thanks for the warm wishes.

Hi Anika---Your old fashion picture is gorgeous.!!!
I love antiques and old fashion scenes and things from the past.

It's been lovely chatting with you, and I have enjoyed all of your posts and comments.
I love that picture of Ewan and Charley. Such great friends.

I hope you have a lovely Christmas and happiness in the New Year...
Thank you for your greeting!!!

I love that picture too. Isn't it gorgeous and romantic? I really like antiques and old scenes like that too. I don't know much about antiques, probably couldn't tell a real one from a fake, but I'm always attracted to things that have a history. We ate dinner in a restaurant tonight that used to be a train station. It's absolutely gorgeous with its old wood, brick walls, arched ticket windows, antique equipment, etc. I love places like that.

I actually wanted to do a real Christmas card, something animated, but that didn't work out. Oh well - next year!

I adore that picture of Ewan and Charley, and it was the perfect "hugs" picture, I thought. :o)

Thank you for your holiday wishes, Char. Have a lovely time with your family.

Love that I didnt get an alert that you posted this.
Oh well, still not after Christmas so I'm not late!
Thanks for the lovely holiday wishes, its been a pleasure getting to know you the past few months. I hope you have a very happy christmas and new years =)
It didn't pop up on your friends list? I'm insulted now. LOL. No, you're not late.

I hope you have a great Christmas too, Morgan, and all best wishes for the year to come!

Thanks for your sweet holiday sentiments and post, Anika! It has been a good year for making new friends for me and I definitely count you as one! Your sense of humor comes through even tho' we never hear each other laugh on LJ and that is always a quality I look for in a friend. the picture of Ewan & Charlie is so cute. I think it will be a great year for Ewan in 2009. He's got a lot of potentially great, high profile stuff coming out over the next year. It's going to be great for us fangirls, to be sure. Blessings to you and yours at Christmas & in 2009!
You're entirely welcome, Rebecca, and thank you as well! :o)

I adore that picture of Ewan and Charley, it's so sweet. I love that friendship they have.

I'm very optimistic for a good 2009 for Ewan. I'm so looking forward to his films that are set to come out. I really think they can finally help to showcase that awesome talent he has, which has sadly been missed in some of his more recent films. It's always there, of course, but I don't think some of the roles did it justice. Not to mention that some of the movies were barely even seen. But I won't get off on a rant about that right now. *struggles not to rant* Anyway, it can only be a good thing for him to be in movies which get people into the theaters, which I think Angels & Demons will be. I can't wait.
Anika---About the skinny reply. Does it just disappear??
I dropped down to a new comment just in case!!!LOL
I have never been to the Edinburgh Castle. But I have lots of books on castles. Lots in Scotland, England and other castles of the world.
What a wonderful idea to get remarried in a castle.
I can't do that as my hubby is gone, but if there is anyway for you to do it, it would be such a wonderful experience.

I have been to this castle in Germany near Stuttgart.

It's the Burg Hohenzollern castle- It was gorgeous. Way up on a mountain top.
I remember it had beautiful wooden tile floors and you had to wear felt slippers over your shoes so as not to damage the floors.. It was many years ago that we went.

I hope this piecure comes out OK!!!!
Oh, that's so beautiful!! What lovely scenery around there too. How awesome to have been there! Edinburgh Castle is significantly smaller than that. I should get a book, that's a great idea. Castles are so fascinating. I wanted to book a room in one when we went to the UK, but I didn't end up doing that. It's not inexpensive, to say the least, but I think it would be a cool experience.

I'm going to keep working on the hubby with the idea of a ceremony in Scotland. :o) We actually got married by a justice of the peace, in her home no less, so we never had any kind of a ceremony. It was our preference at the time, but now we kind of regret it.

Our comments collapsed. Never thought I'd see that happen in my journal!
I can see my two posts that wouldn't post right using the reply so I will use the leave a comment part.

That is a handy piece of information. I will have to see if the books are still available, not that I will be traveling any time soon, but I love architecture and it would be very interesting.

Keep trying with your idea, and it might just come true.

I hope this posts!!!!!
Good it posted----I don't know why it wouldn't post using the "reply"???????? weird
Poor Char! I see you were having some difficulties there! I just hate when the computer messes up on me, it drives me crazy.

Oh trust me, I'm going to keep working on him. He'll get tired of listening to me and cave in. LOL!
